Patient Experience (PX) Week brought smiles, laughter and heartfelt memories across our organization.
Throughout the week, team members transformed everyday moments into meaningful experiences strengthening connections with patients, families and one another.
From simple gestures to larger celebrations, PX Week created space to pause, engage and connect. Craft, lemonade, tea and fun carts delivered simple moments of joy, while princess visits, superhero window washers and a marching band brought energy and delight. Visits from Caring Critters Animal Assisted Therapy and Books Alive! added comfort, imagination and creativity. At the same time, the HEART Learning, Education and Action Series reinforced practical ways to bring connection into every interaction.
Together, these moments reflected what matters most: bringing our HEART values to life in every encounter.
“This week was so special because of the countless opportunities it created for connection,” said Elisa Mozley, Director of Friends and Family and Patient Experience. “It reminded us that patient experience isn’t a program, it’s a promise, and it was powerful to see that promise come to life again and again in the moments we shared with patients, families and one another. My hope is that we carry this energy forward every day, in continuing to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary memories for those we serve.”
PX Week’s success is because of you. Thank you to every team member who participated, to those who organized campuswide events and to leaders who encouraged engagement across their teams. We also extend our gratitude to the Patient Experience team for bringing this vision to life across our organization.
